Add spacing between list items When you apply paragraph spacing to a bullet or numbered list, sometimes the spacing is only applied above or below the entire list, not in between each item within the list. I use this feature constantly so here comes the annoying part. Paragraph spacing is a great way to add a little more space between your paragraphs. To use a bullet level, use the style, not the buttons on the Ribbon or keyboard shortcuts or AutoFormat. Each level must be assigned to an existing paragraph style. ![]() You can easily control the Indents for each level. Let me show you how to change the spacing between items in a list. The Define New MultiLevel List dialog allows assigning bullet symbols instead of numbers. Open this file again using open option from office button. What I am looking at is the drop down of bullet styles from the bullets button in the Paragraph group on the Home ribbon, (or numbering, or multilevel lists), then I right click on a bullet I don't want and choose > Remove. I like to have my list items spaced apart a little, I don’t want them all squashed together.
